Hi, I'm Amanda Moore!
I'm a wife, mom, youth mentor, leadership developer, and founder of Not Bossy Nation. I'm a passionate advocate for helping kids become Brave, Kind, and Real.
Throughout my career, I've built and led high-performing teams, coached emerging leaders, and helped people discover the confidence to use their voice, take ownership, and make a positive impact. I've had the privilege of developing future leaders, speaking to organizations about culture and leadership, and helping people grow into the best version of themselves. But my most important role is being a mom.
As I watched kids navigate friendship drama, bullying, exclusion, self-doubt, and the pressure to fit in, I realized something important: we spend a lot of time teaching children what to learn, but very little time teaching them how to handle real life.
I believe kids need a playbook for real-life situations. They need practical tools for handling conflict, setting boundaries, including others, speaking up when something isn't right, and staying true to themselves when life gets messy. These are leadership skills, and every child deserves the opportunity to learn them.
That's why I created Not Bossy Nation.
Not Bossy Nation exists to help kids become Brave, Kind, and Real. Through books, workshops, resources, and community, we're building a generation of young leaders who know how to speak up, stand up, lift others up, own their choices, and stay true to who they are.
Because leadership isn't about being the loudest person in the room. It's about having the courage to do the right thing, even when it's hard. And when kids learn that early, it changes everything.
Welcome to Not Bossy Nation. We're glad you're here.
